Pak is a legal and compliance professional with both private practice and in-house counsel experience. He is currently the legal and compliance manager of a boutique licensed trust company in Singapore and its affiliated group of corporate services providers, and legal counsel at a Singapore law firm.

His current private client practice includes trusts, wills and estate planning, while his corporate practice includes mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, general corporate advisory and corporate secretarial matters.

A self-professed techie, Pak also has a keen interest in IT. He has presented on the legal, systemic and money laundering risk and regulatory issues of Bitcoin at a regional conference, and he has published joint chapters on these issues in Handbook of Digital Currency: Bitcoin, Innovation, Financial Instruments, and Big Data (Elsevier 2015).

Pak believes that estate planning is not only for the rich, as the peace of mind from getting one’s affairs in order is immeasurably valuable to all. He hopes that the LGBTQ+ community will also be able to think through the issues which affect them, and to have confidence in getting them settled.
